What is Reading Apprenticeship?

Reading Apprenticeship (RA) is a framework for developing college-level literacy skills in higher education.

Reading Tools for Information Literacy

Many students struggle with reading--they don't remember what they've read, or they have trouble making sense of text. This guide is designed to help students who are working on research projects that require reading information sources.

In this case, "reading" refers to anything you have to read for your research project, including books, websites, articles, and more.

This guide will help you stay organized and read your sources carefully. If you need help finding sources to support your projects, please call/visit the library or refer to our other guides.
